Afro-cuban weekend & party

We are very happy to announce that we have in Brussels the extraordinary professor and Cuban dancer Annelys Pérez Castillo for a weekend afrocubaines dances with live drums!

In this weekend we will have the opportunity to learn with Cuban teachers the most famous in Europe. In the weekend we will also have the participation of Bao association with Rhythmic lessons and singing afrocubaines essential to better understand the world of dance.

SATURDAY :

– 10:00: Registration
– 10:30 to 11:15: YORUBA CHANT (Eleguá, Ogun, Chango, Oya, Yemaya, Ochún)
– 11:15 to 1:30 p.m.: DANCE YORUBA on Toques “Generic”. In this course we will dance the generic toques(drums) (Nongo, Chachalokafun, Iyesá) more the rhythms that share a similar structure from the poin of view of dance = Yakota, Latopa, iyama.
– Pause
– 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.: RHYTHM La Clave and Batas drums
– 15:00 – 17:30 DANCE (and Vocals) YORUBA – Yemaya and Chango.

SATURDAY 10/12 from 22:30 until 2:30 am: SUPER CUBAN PARTY+SHOWS+ANIMATIONS AND CUBAN DRUMS !!!

SUNDAY:

– 11:00 to 12:30: RUMBA DANCE – Guaguancó.
– 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.: RUMBA DANCE – Columbia.
– Pause
– 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.: DANCE (and Vocals) Arara, Asoujano.
– 16:00 – 17:30: DANCE (and Vocals) PALO.

ALL COURSES WILL BE WITH PERCUSSION AND LIVE MUSIC !!!
