Lleca Eat for Art at Dokhuis Gallery

Damas & Caballeros, it’s time for a Central American Dinnerparty!

Thursday 30 January LLECA will steam up the Dokhuis Gallery kitchen and cook a true Central American meal for you! We will also be shaking & stirring our infamous Rum Flor de Caña cocktails for just €3,-!!
LLECA normally makes experimental and physical theater in- and outside the prisons of Nicaragua (www.lleca.org). This past year we finished two productions, widely commented in Nicaragua, and would love to share the results with you visually. All of the night’s revenue goes to our foundation to help us carry on with our Theater in Prison Project (hosted since 2009 in the Matagalpan Penitentiary) and to support the productions we have planned for this year!

On the menu:
Apetizer: Sopita de frijoles (€2,-) [Black Bean Soup with cream and koriander]
Main course: Indio viejo con tostones & pico de gallo (€5,-) [Classic spiced maiz dish prepared with achiote, maseca and veggies, accompanied by fried plantains, and mixed tomato salad].
Dessert: the Dokhuis bar has delicious pies to choose from :)

All the food is 100% home-made Nicaraguan, vegetarian, and deliiiiicious!

You can come on in for drinks from 18.00 onwards, dinner will be served at 19.00 : )

Beside the food there will be lovely acoustic music, visuals of our past year’s theatre productions, and of couuuurse we’ll be playing great Latin-Caribbean tunes for those who want to party on after dinner!!! You know, crazy LLECA style!
