NALACS Film and Networking Event: Burden of Peace

Nalacs, the Netherlands Association for Latin American and Caribbean Studies, invites you to the screening of the award-winning documentary film Burden of Peace – Carga de Paz by Dutch filmmakers Joey Boink and Sander Wirken.

Burden of Peace tells the impressive story of Claudia Paz y Paz, the first woman to lead the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Guatemala.

Directly after the movie, there will be a Q&A with director Sander Wirken. The screening will be preceded as well as followed by bites and drinks, which is intended for informal networking among researchers, students and the general public interested in Latin America and the Caribbean.
